This class aims to introduce student engineers to the analysis of real situations which they will encounter in their work placements.
Upon completion of the course, students should be able to :
- understand the role and characteristics of the major functions: financial and accounting, commercial, production and management of human resources
- analyse in a comprehensive manner the standing of a company, in particular starting with accounting summary charts
- to understand the constraints which affect a business, the decision making process and the interdependence of different areas of work
The course covers :
- Financial operations
- Analytical accountancy
- Commercial operations
- Production operations
- Written examination: coefficient 2
- A business game of company will be carried out by group of 3 or 4. A report will be requested from the end: coefficient 1
