Methods Lectures, Seminar, Practical work, Independent Study
60 hours
Prerequisites PHY 101 (B15), ELE 101 (B22)
ECTS 4

This class aims to teach student engineers the principal mathematical functions necessary for understanding circuits, in particular graphic methods. Principal mathematical functions used in electronic courses of Advanced Cycle will be tackled.

- Laplace transformation - definition, convergence, inversion of, properties, determination of originals
- Linear network analysis - general, isomorphic impedance, sinusoidal response
- Complex transfer functions - Nyquist, Bode
- First order passive filters
- Second order passive filters
- Active filtering : Butterworth, Chebychev, Sallen-Key et Rauch
- Filters synthesis
- Stability of opened and closed loops : transfer functions pole and zeros, Niquist and Rough criterions

Individual control: coefficient 2
Statements : coefficient 1
